Satellite Killed The Parking Meter Star

The Winnipeg Parking Authority is testing a new scheme in which the positions of vehicles, and the amount of time they're parked, are tracked by satellite, using a dash-mounted transmitter.  The registered owner is then mailed a bill.  Read more at the CBC.
